Legal Matrix

Four governing documents, four isolated blocks. Operator: HostNodeWeb, 72 Rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris, France — correspondence: [email protected].

// DOCUMENT 01

Privacy Policy

01

HostNodeWeb ("we", "us"), 72 Rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris, France, is the data controller for personal data processed through hostnodeweb.com and related service channels. Questions go to [email protected].

// Data We Collect

Contact data you send us (name, work email, phone number, organization, project details); billing data required for invoicing; and technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, consent state) generated when you browse this site. We do not buy enriched datasets and we do not operate advertising profiles.

// Lawful Basis & Purpose

We process contact data on the basis of legitimate interest (answering pre-contractual enquiries) and, where you have ticked the consent box, pursuant to your explicit consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Billing data is processed to comply with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)), including French accounting retention rules. Technical logs are processed to secure the service and diagnose incidents (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)).

// Retention

Enquiries are retained for 24 months after the last exchange. Contractual and accounting records are kept for 10 years as required by French commercial law. Security logs are held for 12 months. Data is then deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

// Processors & Transfers

We engage vetted processors (hosting, email, payment) under Article 28 GDPR agreements. Primary hosting sits in the European Union (eu-west-3, Paris). Where a processor operates outside the EEA, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses supplemented by technical and organizational safeguards. We never sell personal data.

// Your Rights

Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris).

Terms of Service

02

These terms govern every engagement between the client and HostNodeWeb, 72 Rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris, France (contact: [email protected]). By commissioning a service, paying an invoice, or accepting a statement of work, the client accepts them in full.

// Scope & Delivery

Each engagement is defined in a written scope listing deliverables, fixed price, dependencies, and a delivery window. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts. The client appoints one decision-maker and grants timely access to accounts, repositories, and documentation; delays in access extend delivery day for day.

// Fees & Payment

Prices are quoted in USD or EUR and are exclusive of VAT and third-party cloud costs. Invoices are due within 14 calendar days via the secure payment link on this site. Late payments accrue interest at three times the statutory French rate plus a €40 recovery charge. Retainers bill monthly in advance and may be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

// Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, HostNodeWeb assigns to the client all worldwide rights in client-specific deliverables (infrastructure code, pipelines, dashboards, documentation). We retain ownership of pre-existing tools, frameworks, and reusable modules, and grant the client a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use them inside the delivered work.

// Warranties & Liability

Deliverables conform to the agreed scope for 30 days after handover; confirmed defects are remedied at no charge. We do not warrant outcomes dependent on third-party platforms. To the extent permitted by law, either party's aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid for the engagement in the preceding 12 months, excluding fraud, willful misconduct, and breaches of confidentiality.

// Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are first addressed through good-faith negotiation, then submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.

Cookie Policy

03

This policy explains how HostNodeWeb (72 Rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris, France) stores and reads information on your device. Questions: [email protected].

// What We Set

  • ›cookie_accepted — a first-party preference key that remembers your consent choice for 12 months. Set only after you act on the banner.
  • ›session_id — a strictly necessary session token that keeps form state and security protections working while you browse.
  • ›_ga / analytics — aggregate, IP-truncated page statistics loaded only if you opt in. Never used for ad targeting.

// Duration

Consent and preference keys persist for up to 12 months. Session keys are erased when you close the browser. Aggregate analytics cookies expire after 13 months at most.

// Third Parties

Embedded maps and payment processing may set their own strictly necessary cookies when you interact with those widgets. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on this site.

// Managing Cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; blocking strictly necessary keys will degrade form and consent features. Withdrawing consent is as simple as deleting the cookie_accepted key or writing to [email protected].

Refund Policy

04

HostNodeWeb sells fixed-scope infrastructure engagements and monthly SRE retainers. This policy states exactly when money comes back, so nobody has to guess. Requests go to [email protected] with the invoice reference.

// Cooling-Off Period

If you are a consumer and cancel within 14 calendar days of payment — before any scheduled discovery call or work session has taken place — you receive a full refund to the original payment method.

// Milestone Refunds

Fixed-price projects are released in milestones. If you cancel after work has begun, you keep everything delivered to date and we refund any prepaid amount for work not yet started, invoiced at the milestone boundaries defined in your scope. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval.

// SLA Credits

Retainer clients who experience a breach of our contractual 99.99% monthly uptime commitment may claim service credits: 10% of the monthly fee per 0.1% below target, capped at 50%. Credits are applied to the next invoice and are the exclusive remedy for availability shortfalls.

// Non-Refundable

Consumed engineering hours, third-party cloud spend already incurred, domain or certificate purchases, and work customized to your environment after your written approval are non-refundable. Where local consumer law grants broader rights, those rights apply unchanged.

// How To Request

Email [email protected] from the address on the account with the invoice number and reason. We acknowledge within one business day and resolve approved cases within 10 business days. HostNodeWeb — 72 Rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris, France.
